I am in fear that librarians will loose upgraded pay

I am a Librarian in a Public School. The 5th CPC recommends as follows (in part 4b): \"We recommend that School Librarians should be recruited in the pay scale of Rs.1640-2960 with a graduate and B.Lib. qualifications at par with Trained Graduate Teacher Grade III.\" This has also been approved by the 6CPC. On the lines of above observations, I would like to know whether the CBSE has issued any notification to Schools in this regard? Because, in many schools Librarians are treated under the Administrative category only. I am in fear that the Scales for Librarians may be fixed without enhancements (as mentioned for Teachers). Sir, please guide me... Thanking you and in anticipation.

Your fear is not irrelevant. We all are afraid of this anomaly that the librarians may be 'degraded' with a Grade pay of 4200 if the recommendations were not applied as usual. All authorities who are concerned with formulation of pay scales must be adhered to the feelings of 'welfare' of the employees and this is the motto of all pay commissions. you all were equal to the TGT in previous days and now should be placed as par with TGT/PGT with grade pay of 4600 or4800. Be prepared for struggle for your rights.
We have no idea about the guidelines of CBSE.

I know at least one big organisation has implemented this by introducing the post of Assistent librarian and Senior librarian.Even after 10 years of service one is left to the mercy of management and never given upgradation of Senior Librarian (TGT Scale ).Which they think why spending more on this minor group as they hardly can raise voice.I am sad and dissapointed by this cruel attitude of the organisation.Anyone there to answer how to cop with this or nothing can be done..... :-((
