Regarding the fixatation of basic pay on 01-04-2010.If the sixth pay commision is applicable from 01-04-2010.I am working as PGT in DAV My present basic pay is 9500.Kindly help me. Kindly write all the details.

Your letter shows how little our teachers know about the pay scales!!
The 6CPC is applicable from 01/01/2006 and not from 01/04/2010.There is no 'if and but' in the date of its implementation. Keep pressure on school authorities to implement 6CPC from 01/01/2006.
There is not possibility of a PGT with basic 9500. It means you have done 16 years job as PGT and the present basic has gone upto 9500. But, what happened to the next upgradation after 12 years? The school auhorities had not given you ACP/Senior scale after 12 years of continuous service in same pay scale. You are eligible for grade pay of 5400 and the basic will be re-fixed after awarding ACP/Senior scale to you.
