CRY - Child Rights and You, an Indian NGO working for the past 3 decades on the issue of child rights across 23 States and Alliance for People’s Rights (APR) , a network of 15 voluntary organizations advocating for issues of children in Delhi are organizing a Children Festival “Shiksha Hamara Haq” on October 18, 2012.in Speaker’s Hall, Constitution Club of India from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 pm. The Festival brings together 60 children representatives from 29 children’s group across Delhi to be part of a 4 day workshop facilitated by Mr. Walter Peter, a National School of Drama Graduate and a senior theatre artist.

The 4-day workshop from October 14th to October 17th culminates into 3 short- plays, featuring the children themselves, dwelling on the issues of ‘Out of School children’, ‘Lack of Infrastructure’ and ‘Corporal Punishment’. The plays will be followed by a panel discussion on the same issues. We understand that you have been working on children’s issues very closely and are committed to bringing in positive change in lives of children.

We understand that you have been working on ensuring children’s right to development and are committed to bringing in positive change in lives of children; therefore we would like to invite you as a guest in the Children Festival. Your presence and valuable suggestions shall contribute towards the endeavor in ensuring Right to Education for children. For more details please refer to the e-invite attached.

I was appointed as primary teacher on 24.03.1994 in MCD. Later,on 13.09.2007,
I was promoted as TGT ENGLISH.
I want to clarify whether I am drawing the salary correctly or not.

March 1994 Basic- 1200 DA- 1164 CCA- 45 HRA-250 Teaching allowance- 100 Medical allowance- 100 IR- 100 GROSS- Rs 2875
March-1998 Basic- 4875 DA- 634 CCA- 200 HRA- 1463 Teaching allowance- 100 GROSS- Rs 7272 April-2004 Basic- 8438 - 928 - 2531 - 300 - 100 12298 In 2009,
I applied for pay anomaly and then I was given the basic pay as 4625 from 1.1.96 while
I was appointed in the month of march in my service.
My pay fixed as 1.1.2006- basic 15130 (10930+4200) 1.7.2006- 11860+4600 1.7.2007- 12360+4600 and so on
And now I am drawing my pay as Basic- 19680 GP- 4600 DA- 12792 HRA- 5904 TA- 2640 TOTAL- 41016

Whether I am eligible to get old pension scheme benefit by the proportionate service gratuity

Sir, I joined in Govt. service (state govt.) in 2002 and it was pensionable. In the year 2009, I joined in another job under central Govt. and is also pensionable. I have applied through proper channel, got selected and joined to my new post on retaining one year lien to my substantive post. During my lien period I have contributed GPF contribution in my previous GPF account. After completion of my probation period, I was allowed to open GPF account in my present place of posting and contribution is being deducted from my salary. I have applied for counting of my past service and authority has communicated this matter to my previous employer seeking pro-rata pension. Recently my previous employer declined to give pro-rata pension as I had not completed 10 years of service but agreed to discharge proportionate service gratuity. Now I want to know whether I am eligible to get old pension scheme benefit by the proportionate service gratuity. If possible, let me know in detail giving relevant CCS rules/clause. I shall be highly grateful to you.
