You will get ACP and ask for it. Please forget senior or selection scale, these are outdated things. You have send incomplete information to us and the depttand place of your posting etc.

Sorry, you can not get the selection scale as the ACP Scheme was in force vide letter dated 09.08.1999 vide which you can get the ACP only if you have the requisite PG qualification. Had you completed 24 years before 9.8.1999 you would have got the same.

There is no requirement of any Higher qualification like PG degree in the related subject for getting benefits of ACP or MACPS.
There is no mention of higher qualification in any circular isued by the DOPT at all. These are needed for regular promotion as PGT only. Regular promotion and ACP are two different things. ACP is called assured career progression and it 'assures' upgradation of scales at regular intervals without any if and but.
Many TGT are not being awarded ACP in different educational deptts due to non-availability of PGT degrees but it is totally mis-conception and mis-interpretation of the ACP/MACPS.
