i am working as a teacher in mcd school.our zonal dept.gave instructions last month that only those teachers can avail child care leave whose child is mentally /physically disabled..is this some new clause added to the existing orders?please clarify.

No, it is not so.
All working women having children below the age of 18 and no EL in their vallet (account) can claim for 730 days child care leave in the whole period of service. It can be taken in parts too as Casual leave.
Recently the Ministry has issued another circular for the relaxation in upper age upto 22 in case of those mothers who have physically disabled children.
The CCL is permissible in its better way now.
We need some female employees to come forward to finance us for a case to challenge the condition of Earned leave to spend first.
Please motivate your friends to come with us.
New circular regarding such type of CCL is uploaded on the page 'download' for convenience of all.
Now, CCL can be taken with EL in accounts also.
New circular has been issued after demand of many organisations/ unions and it is available on page 'download' of www.delta.org.in
