The management is asking the methods of fixation

I am working as a TGT in a private school.On the day of 2006 Jan 1st my basic was Rs.5850.My increment mointh is April. Please help me in calculating my basic salary. In our website delta.org it is coming as Rs.19,160 Please send me the details of calculation.Till yesterday they were saying we are not going to fix the revised basic and yesterday I gave a letter to the principal.'Today the scool authorities called me and said we have revised your salary .''For any further change you bring the calculation today itself'.'Tommorow morning there is a committee meeting'.Sir , I request you to help me and please send the details of calculation ( Rs.19,160 ) today itself.

Thanks for the mail.

Your basic pay of 5850 as TGT must be changed in 12920 +4600=17520 on 01/01/2006.



Please see the page no 43 and 47 for teachers in 'adhisoochna (notification)' dated 29/08/2008 (64 pages)



The pay of a TGT will start from 12540 because this is the entry pay for those employees who are entitled for a grade pay of 4600.In this way the initial pay of a newly appointed TGT will be Rs 12540+4600=17140.



If you relate this information with page 43,The first schedule, Part-A, section II, then the entry-level scale in PB-2 (9300-13500) for PRT, TGT, PGT, VP, PRN will be cleared before you.



The fresh appointee TGT will get 17140 on 01/01/2006. TGT with basic 5675 will get the same 17140 because bunching of two stages will be done.But a TGT with basic 5850 will not get less than it (i.e., 17140) otherwise an anomaly in pay will be created.



Now see the rule 7(1) (A) (ii) which states that if the minimum, (means the entry pay, i.e., 12540 ) is more than {(5850 X 1.86 = 10890, according to rule 7(1) (A) (i) } bunching of two consecutive stages in an existing (5500-175-9000) scale will be done. Therefore, TGTs with basic 5500 and 5675 will get same pay.




The pay scales on the DELTA are suggestive and our responsibility is only to keep you alert on your legal rights. It doesn't matter that any Govt official having dictator mindset agrees with us or not.
