All kinds of leave, (maternity or abortion) are applicable in probation periods too.
This is true for contract employees also.
Most of the employees are not permanent in Govt Deptts and if they can enjoy the benefits ...why not you.
About 80% staff is not confirmed in Indian Govt Offices...!!!
Dont fear... enjoy the DEMOCRACY.
