Will new pension scheme benefit newly-appoint

Hello there, Q1:- Does the new pension scheem will help the new joinees and will benifit them. Q2:- How will they get the pension after retirement as a normal govt servant or what? Thanks & Regards Anupam Sarawat

Respected Mrs Anupam Sahrawat,
The pension scheme has been discontinued from 2004. New -appointee will not be covered under pension schemes. Yet you may opt for pension schemes of LIC and like other agencies. Yet,the Govt is looking confused on this issue too as no better plans has been chalked out up to now.
